About Me

Jason is a composer who engulfs himself in video game music and concert music composition. He began his passion for music in middle school when he first joined chorus; and soon after joined the band program playing trumpet. Since then, Jason has been extremely interested in traditional scoring and composition; later given opportunities to write original music for his high school's program. Jason would go on to write a few instrumental works inspired by contemporary classical composers such as Morten Lauridsen, Eric Whitacre, and Daniel Elder. One of his compositions titled "Autumn Breeze" won the grand prize in the annual Florida Bandmaster's Association Composition Contest.

After graduation, Jason proceeded to branch out into digital music production. Jason has always loved video games and their accompanying soundtracks. With his ever growing composition experience, he has taken interest in producing VGM. Jason is a huge fan of game franchises such as: Pokemon, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Kirby and Undertale. He takes inspiration from game composers like Jun Ishikawa, Yoko Shimomura, Junichi Masuda, Nobuo Uematsu and Toby Fox. Due to his broad influences, Jason is able to express a wide range of moods and styles and enjoys "painting the picture" with his music; as well as lending his creativity to other talented people.
